Department of MATHEMATICS
The department of Mathematics was established in the year of 2016-2017. The Department of Mathematics offers B.Sc [Mathematics] . The vision of the department is not only to transform young people to become motivated mathematicians and also to contribute to the development of the nation. The department has present energetic and dedicated faculty members.
The department has started club named as “FIELDS CLUB” in the year of 2017-2018 and also been actively engaged in organizing quiz and events frequently.
GOAL :
To provide students with ancient and knowledge in mathematics, so that they are able to work as young mathematicians and professionals.
To train students to deal with the problems faced by industry through knowledge of mathematics and scientific computational techniques.
To introduce the fundamentals of mathematics to students should be able to communicate Mathematical ideas ,reasoning and puzzles to examine different problem-solving strategies.
VISION :
To lift the students those who are all in economically and educationally backward developing total personality of the individual and instill high levels of discipline and brave to achieve goal to contribute to nation.
MISSION :
The department of mathematics dedicatively commits to achieve excellence in all the departments to provide our students of inspiring environment of learning, research, creativity, innovation and activities to the moral values.
OBJECTIVES :
- To provide our major with sufficient understanding and experience of mathematics to pursue their careers and graduate study of mathematics.
- To enable students in other majors to gain a greater level of quantitative literacy and an advanced technological society.
- To prepare them to pursue higher studies and contact research in math field.
